Chad Travel Updates (updated periodically)

Since the attempted coup in February, airfare prices have risen. Before the rebellion, tickets from Texas to N'Djamena could be found as low as $1,300 in the right season. Current prices are hovering around $3,000. Although it is highly dependent on your funding and travel plans, flying into Nigeria and traveling to Chad on the ground is now becoming a serious consideration.

The security situation in the east and the south remains in flux. Security sources agree that individuals lacking security support should not travel along the Chad/Sudan border.
